frequently asked questions

why do i do it ?

i am quite a reserved, shy person,
yet i write my diary and place it for all to see on the internet.
odd huh ?
the reason for starting a diary, years ago, was because i could see myself not remembering stuff.
i've been writing a diary since 1988 or so, and by the turn of the century, i was getting tired of it.
at the same time, i bought a casio camera watch and saw the potential for putting them on the internet.
to begin with, the text was merely descriptions to go with the pictures.
but as the months passed, the descriptions filled out and replaced my hand written diary.
but that isn't really "why", is it ?
i wouldn't really expect anyone to be interested in it.

what job do i do ?

i'm a graphic artist in the games industry.
i started in june 1997 at codemasters and worked on all the colin mcrae rally games.
just before christmas 2005, i left to work at freestylegames to work on B-Boy.
we're based in warwickshire, in central leamington spa.

do i drink ?

this is a question i keep getting asked.
well, i do. just not very much, that's all.
i've never gotten a taste for lager or beer. i've gone off spirits and alchopops.
but i still like wine.

a boblbee !?

a boblbee is a swedish, hardshell backpack.
i saw one in a department store in stockholm in 2002, loved them, but noticed how expensive they were.
skip forward a few years, i was looking on ebags for presents and stumbled onto boblbee there.
luckily, they were selling discontinued colours at half price.
i bought one in a lime green colour and proceeded to cover it in stickers.
then they sold a larger one half price, this was bright green.
my good friend, keith, had already said he would respray one for me. so, i ordered one.
he resprayed it black and it looks fantastic.
i rarely leave the flat without it. it's shape seems to be good for my back !
